Organisation
The consultants
Segmenta’s consultants make up the essential basis that allows us to be able to deliver business value to our clients.
A large majority of Segmenta’s consultants have more than nine years of SAP experience and a long term education behind them, typically as engineers, computer scientists or economists. In addition, most of our consultants gained a background in business before beginning as SAP consultants.
Offices
Segmenta has offices in Brondby, Denmark (west of Copenhagen) and Oslo, Norway.
Partners and managing employees
Segmenta is owned by five partners, each of whom works actively within the firm.

Lars Damgaard
Partner and Administrative Director at Segmenta A/S.
Lars received a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University in 1983 and has worked in the IT consulting industry since 1990, first as an ERP consultant and project manager at WM Data, and later as CEO at MAS-IG & MAS-DK/IBM.
Lars is co-founder of Segmenta.

Kjartan Kristensen
Partner and Chairman of the Board
Kjartan received a Master’s degree in Economics from Aarhus University in 1989 and has worked in the IT consulting industry since 1987 for LEC, WM Data, MAS and IBM. Kjartan began his SAP career in 1995 with MAS, a company that was later acquired by IBM. Kjartan was a consultant manager at MAS USA (New York), and later served as a Director for the MAS International Group. At Segmenta Kjartan has specialised in solution architecture in association with Segmenta’s clients in the B2C segment.
Kjartan is co-founder of Segmenta, and since 2000 he has served as the company’s Chairman of the Board.

Thomas Stolborg
Partner and Director with responsibility for large customers.
Thomas received a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1992 and has worked in the IT consulting industry since 1994. He began as a senior consultant for Accenture France and held posts in Germany, Finland and France. He later worked as a senior manager for Accenture Denmark, where he was responsible for the Business Launch Centre with 45 employees. Thomas has worked with IT strategy, IT program and project management, change management, process optimisation, LEAN, etc. for a number of the largest companies in both Denmark and abroad.
Thomas became co-owner of Segmenta in 2003.

Tonny Pedersen
Partner and Director with responsibility for ERP recruiting.
Tonny Pedersen graduated with a Master’s degree in IT and Financial Management in 1988, and he has since worked in the IT consultancy industry as an ERP consultant, solutions architect and project manager. Tonny has also held a number of managerial positions. Tonny has worked at SAP AG, SAP Denmark, Tulip Food Company, MAS-DK, MAS-IG, IBM Denmark, and was most recently a partner at Appeer.

Verner Jensen
Partner and Director with responsibility for business development.
Verner received a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1976. For ten years he has worked as CIO for Coop Norden, Danisco and Coop Denmark, respectively.
Before that, Verner was a department manager for PA Consulting Group, where he worked with IT strategy projects for some of Denmark’s largest companies.

Erik Dahl Nielsen
Sales Director for the Nordic countries.
Erik holds a Master’s in Business Economics, and following a brief stint in the financial sector, he has worked for the last 20 years in the IT industry. He served most recently as Sales Director at Capgemini, with responsibility for SAP and the utilities industry. Erik began his IT career with IBM Denmark.
Working Method
Segmenta’s project philosophy is to deliver solutions that enable the customer to meet the business-related goals that lie behind the purchase of and decision to implement SAP.
Segmenta is focused on delivering solutions based on SAP standard, SAP best practice and SAP industry solutions. Modifying SAP standards should only be considered in exceptional cases, in which a critical business process cannot be managed using standard SAP functionality.
Segmenta wishes to enter into lasting client relationships, with an emphasis on responsibility or project deliveries or as “house consultants” or supplier of core competences. That is why we are proud of the fact that we are still the house consultants for Segmenta’s first client from 2000.
