Effective project management is a basic prerequisite for ensuring optimal project results. Inadequate project management is often one of the causes when SAP projects do not live up to the client’s expectations.

Project management must focus on ensuring that the delivery meets the project’s business-related objectives, and that the project’s activities are completed within the agreed upon timeframe and budget.

A proper dialogue between project manager and client/business throughout the entire course of the project is essential for achieving the right results.

Quality project management requires a well run project based on well known and well tested methods. Before beginning the project, the exact method to be used is determined based on the needs of the individual project.

• The entire effort is planned and implemented with a focus on the client’s success criteria and prioritisation of goals, quality, cost and time. 
• We at Segmenta have developed our own project management method which is a modified version of PRINCE2. This can be used to fully or partially supplement the client’s own project management method. 
• For SAP projects, Segmenta uses ASAP as a delivery method. Segmenta has furthermore developed accelerators to supplement ASAP.
• Project management is utilised for both larger and smaller projects. Segmenta also has considerable experience in the project management of sub-projects, such as programming resources.
• Segmenta works with the active interest management approach. 
• Active risk and issue control are implemented and integrated into the entire project as a natural part of our projects.
